I think the TM meant to say about the peak of the career. Kajol gave back to back hits during her peak before she got married and she never had low or flop phase in her career. She got married early and back in the days, actresses career was over after they got married but Kajol still got tasted success after she got married. After Fanaa, MNIK was hit too. She could’ve get much success but family was her first priority. She rejected many good movie offers like KANK after she got married. If she wanted, then she could’ve give lot of hits if she didn’t reject the good offers but she decided not to. She probably didn’t want to get more successful than Ajay. She did some movies of Ajay’s PH, which didn’t do much good. Now she is 45 and mother of 2 kids. At this point, it’s hard to give hits. Her contemporaries like Madhuri, Raveena and Karishma gave hit like 20 years ago which was back in the 90’s or very early in 2000. They faded from Bollywood like ages ago. When was the last time Ash gave hit? Her filmography is filled with flops. At least Kajol gave back to back hits at one point.

There are no actors actresses that didn’t gave flops but low phase is different. It’s happens when actors actresses career is almost over or if they have flops for many years but Kat is known as box office queen. 1-2 year didn’t seem to affect her much. She gave hit movies even with Imran and John. Even PC gave many flops on her career. The movies you are taking about were not that great movies and those movies had actors that doesn’t have good box office record except RK. Saif, Sid and Aditya gave back to back flops. Jagga Jasoos was stuck for few years. So it was expected to be flop and what do you mean by she went back to Salman? She never had issue with Salman. She worked with him even when she was dating RK. She worked with him in Ek Tha Tiger in 2012 and she was in relationship with RK at that time. She is also doing movie with Akshay. Tiger Zinda Hai became hit because of Salman Kat pair because they made hit pair from Ek Tha Tiger. If it had any other actresses, then it would’ve been flop. Even Salman gave flop before Tiger Zinda Hai.

Kajol's acting skills have melted with age..she was terrible in Dilwale..and many other movies before and after that..sad..at one point she used to be my absolute favourite..but not anymore. Its like how Parineeti's acting skills dissolved with that weight loss/ no loss..Kajol lost it as well..the more she brightened her skin, the more terrible she became as an actor.

Sridevi was still top the game Judaai then English vinglish, she could of easily done many movies but chose to retire. Kajol is extremely lucky, she has great relation with srk, dharma and yashraj banner as well as ajay being a big star himself production, had she done movie like English vinglish without the banner it would of failed.

Kareena hands down.

Despite flops her stardom graph never dipped in any phase of her career, majorly attributes to her star aura.
