Is it okay to make movies on real life incidents and disasters?

This thought came to my mind while watching Hotel Mumbai. Do you think it's ethically and morally correct to make and watch commercial movies based on real life incidents? A real life incident or tragedy effects real people. Lives are lost in big disasters. And filmmakers make a movie out of it to earn 💰 and we watch it for our thrill and entertainment munching our🍿 and coke. Imagine how the people who went through all this and came out alive would feel. It was not thrill for them. It was life or death situation for them. Imagine what the families of the people who lost their lives in these disasters would feel. It's not entertainment for them. It's reliving their worst memories.

Note : This is being posted again because I really want this topic to be discussed. And also mods gave me warning not to bump my threads.😆

you have a simple solution, although don't just write "bump", rather write something long by either replying one of the replies or by giving another perspective(if there ain't no replies). Simple and Sweet.

Looney your topics are good but please take time to make them. Otherwise they loose the essence... Rather than hailing you for keeping forum active by discussing Bollywood you get mocked( I have done it too). Just self restrict and continue making good threads.😊
