If you read very carefully, I never even denied he did good numbers- I actually mentioned them !...but there's a lot more beyond 'just Tiger' carrying the success of Baaghi 2.. otherwise why all his other movies - Jatt, Student -flopped?

Why the STAR Tiger couldn;t carry those, too?

Or is your answer that Tiger is a Dolph Lundgren/Schwarzenegger of BW and..that's that?

Again, nobody has saved actual shitty ground WOM (not social media bs) movies in today's time unless you are THE Salman Khan. WOM isn't about star power. Getting people in that theatre the first day is star power and giving your movie a platform. The trash products clearly and rightfully have failed.

Hrithik's Mission Kashmir beat the huge Mohabbatein on opening day in a clash by breaking the opening day record at the time. Hrithik brought that crowd in first day. We all know which one was the bigger hit because that movie trended with much better WOM and lifetime collections. Did Hrithik the star fail his movie the first day?! Or the movie couldn't capitalize on the platform he gave it due to its content?

You keep going back to lifetime 300 crore collections of War when my premise was already lifetime collections is about the content of the movie, not star power. On that record-breaking opening day, I am helluva sure Tiger had 35-40% hand there. Hrithik takes the lion's share of 60-65%. Specifically brought Ranveer so it hits close to home in relating apples to apples for ya to see, how the untalented dude in similar contexts got more people to come on an opening day.

You simply overlooked ENTIRELY this portion where I even said what type of actor he could become ( and I quote from my FIRST answer to you)

To this day his acting is bad but he's loved and gets good support as action guy.. Tiger indeed got lucky to 'fit the bill' , 'fill a slot' for this genre and single screen love him there, true..but he's not gonna be a Pacino type.. more like Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren type hero..muscles, fights,action movie roles.. and nothing else to explain his success.

See? I've praised him and his jumps and action stuff.I even mentioned HW stars that had huge careers from action movies, without being good actors and said Tiger could have similar career type.

My entire post was about where was his star power, then, on other movies? Is it really just opening?? so he can get a big opening and the movie flops and that's star power???? Like, again, don't compare his movies with x, y , z.. but look EVEN in movies that were Action genre, which is HIS FORTE(Like Jatt)

My FIRST POST METNIONED that I believe there's many types of star power. Some get star power from powerful performances, some from being rom com stars, some from action. (But of course you totally igniored that part).

I have heard of stuff fan clubs of south megastars do,the amount of money they have at their disposal!They are like small state political parties.

That is stardom.What Rajesh Khanna,Big B and Khans in BW have seen.It is not about popularity-it is hero worship on another level.

In the South they definitely do, for superstars like Rajnikanth or even Ajith and Vijay. Just the fact that these guys are acting pulls the audience to the theatre.
