Kisi ka kuch khaas role nahi hai, just that Kriti K has one scene were she is doing things as Bala(Akki) tells her to do to get Bobby in his team , chhichhora idea deta hai woh and Kriti K does it .

Movie isn't that funny, only times when movie gets funny is when Akki is involved, especially his problem in the movie where he forgets whenever he hears a loud sound. Even Ritesh is wasted.

Watched houseful 4 today in a half filled movie hall today. The movie is not as bad as it is made out to be. Only the flashback story is boring for me. The movie belongs to Akshay, he outshined everyone and basically everyone else were just supporting him. The comedy in the movie did looked forced at places but was amusing at some parts. I liked how they based everything on a story and followed it throughout. The second half is better than the first. The Bala song was so entertaining, it just lit up the screen.

My rating is 3/5 as I don’t enjoy comedy movies

Housefull 4 Does Well On Day Two

Housefull 4 has done well on day two and surprisingly there was hardly any drop on day two as the film collected around 18 crore nett. Normally collections would do go down where major films are concerned as Diwali gets closer and then the jump comes post Diwali.

The multiplexes across the country have made gains of around 5-10% but the film has seen drops in Maharashtra where the film did its best business so there will be drops in CP Berar and Nizam / Andhra while Bihar will also probably be down as it recorded a solid first day number. Gujarat / Saurashtra is doing very well and could even see gains on Saturday when this circuit actually comes into play after Diwali. The main gains will probably come in North especially the NCR belt.

The film has got a good result on the day before Diwali by not showing a fall which looked on the cards as most of the audience gets busy with Diwali festivities. There is negativity for the film in the media and trade and this has happened to a couple of films this year and the last one Saaho (Hindi) was released just a few weeks back and the film still pulled up a strong number and that too without have much of a release in the South.

The film has collected around 36.50 crore nett in two days and could cross 50 crore nett depending on the fall on Sunday and then it will go into holiday period which will be the test to see where it can land on Monday and Tuesday.

Housefull 4 Holds Well On Second Day

Housefull 4 held up well on day two as collections were in the same range as day one. The film collected around 18 crore nett and in most areas the film showed an upturn in business with the falls coming mainly in Maharashtra, Nizam / Andhra and Bihar. These mass areas had performed better than the rest of the country on day one so saw drops. The areas which witnessed the pre Diwali affect to a larger extent on Friday managed to show some growth.

The drop is limited if we go past history on films released on a Friday before Diwali. Mass films like Krrish 3 (2013) and Shivaay (2016) saw a drop of around 10% while a metro film like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) saw a drop of 5% and the trend for Housefull 4 is better than all these films. There is sure to be a drop on Sunday as Diwali day is a very poor day for business though it is territory specific with North and Central taking huge hits with hardly any footfalls while Mumbai and South drop less.

The two day business of the film is 36.50 crore nett and it could do a weekend of 50 crore nett though that is not a given as collections are likely to be hit hard on Sunday. The collections of Housefull 4 till date are as follows.

Housefull 4 3rd Day Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar, Ritiesh Deshmukh and Bobby Deol’s film released on Friday during the pre-Diwali period. As expected the opening was below the mark and it continued to struggle on Sunday too as collections were hit badly. Let’s look at Housefull 4 collection report for Sunday.

The film has witnessed a considerable drop on Sunday. Looking at the early trade trends it seems that Housefull 4 3rd day collection will be in the range of 14 crores. The actuals can vary slightly when the official numbers will be out.

The film started with 25% occupancy in the morning shows which was lower than both Friday and Saturday. As the day went on, it started to drop as people were busy in Diwali celebrations. In the evening shows, the collections at places were practically nothing. Diwali day is considered the worst day for box office hence the trend was on the expected lines.

Housefull 4 box office collection in 3 days stands at over 50 crores. The numbers are average so far but the film will come back to life on Monday as it is expected to be huge. Then the real test will be on Tuesday and Wednesday.

So far the reviews have been negative and the word of mouth is mixed. It will be interesting to see how the film trend post-Diwali. It is a big-budget film and needs to collect approx 175 crores to be called a box office success. The other releases Saand Ki Ankh and Made in China also had very poor numbers. The later is a washout while Saand Ki Ankh might have some chance if it can hold post Diwali.
