The ubiquitous and quirky actor Rajkummar Rao has stormed his way to the top. He has been one of the few celebrities who has managed to grab success within a short span of time. With his recent release of Judgementall Hai Kya, Rajkummar has instantly moved towards prepping up for his upcoming film Made in China, which also stars Mouni Roy.

While some think, Ranjkummar’s career plans are all sorted out and planned, he has put these speculations to rest. While the fans had been excited about the rumors of him starring in Dostana sequel, he has finally revealed why he dropped the film.

The actor also revealed that he had been offered the Dostana sequel but sadly, it didn't work out because of the dates. However, he wishes to join hands with Karan Johar and says that it is going to happen soon.

Without a doubt, Karan Johar has been vocal about his keenness to work with Rajkummar and Raj quips that he’s equally keen to work with KJo. During a recent interaction with Mumbai Mirror, he said, “He’s one of the finest filmmakers in the country. I hope something works out soon and I’m pretty sure it will,” he insists.

Rajkummar has been working constantly and he has already worked on three films this year. Both of which didn’t perform well at the box office. But Raj feels no pressure. “I can’t control how a film fares, so, there’s no point taking any pressure,” he shrugs

He was reportedly offered the sequel. So, why didn’t things work out? “Dates,” he sighs. “My next project, opposite, will be shot at the same time. But it’s a great script and Colin D’Cunha, the director, is my classmate from FTII,” he informs.
