There is no contradiction. You were talking about solo hero films, which Mission Mangal is. As for HAHK and DDLJ, they are not called solo films and if they are called that, then it's wrong. Because Madhuri was a Superstar when HAHK was released, and Kajol had an equal role in DDLJ's success. Raja Hindustani and KNPH too were not solo lead films as they were love stories with actresses having important roles. They are SOLO HERO films but not SOLO LEAD films.

Akshay kumar or other actors profession were of hero, any movie they do they will be called as hero. So now we have no solo hero film from your definition😂.

Traditional definition has always been that but now we see people giving their own meaning and definition lol.

What do you want? I'm not interested in an argument. Is the traditional definition written in some holy book? I already said Mission Mangal, DDLJ, HAHK, Raja Hindustani and even Gadar are solo hero films. We are in the same page now so get over it.

So in order for the film to be termed solo then just one person in the film with no one else 😂

Why are you still stuck in hero's and heroines definition of 90s and 80s.

This movie is about a bunch of characters, starring many stars, some huge stars like Akshay, some small ones like Sharman Joshi. A multi starrer doesn't always need to have two or more main lead hero, to he called multi starrer. A movie based on an common event with multiple characters with no definite lead character is multi starrer. This movie was about the Mission Mangal, it wasn't about Tara Shinde or Rakesh Dhawan, it was about the Mission Mangal project. You cannot call a movie solo, if the movie isn't about one main character only.

Was the movie, box office wise, Akki driven, but the movie technically isn't solo hero movie.
