There are some married women who forget their profession and everything related to who they were before they got married and only talk about husband. At least Deepika will be different. I usually don't like her PR stuff but I like this statement of hers

am noticing after wedding she is getting irritate when ever any one call her bhabhi or called her deepika as Ranveers wife or Singh name with her she pretend how she did big favour ranveer by getting marry her reaction are disgusted she doesnot what to some one remind her married she refused sir name in filmfare intv and said why deepika padukone Singh why not Ranveer padukone she has so much problem with his name tag with her even in fun interview thats why like anushka and priyanka they are also individual but never behave like this

She can deny all she wants, Anurag Basu already said she refused his movie because she was getting married.

Apart from you no one brought him up so. And his schedule was planned that way because he signed 3 movies back to back even before Padmaavat. DP said they started the planning after PV only. She had the Vishal movie which got shelved because of Irrfan's poor health. So if things had gone according to plan she would have been working and planning a wedding like he did. So your assumption that she took a break for the wedding is not even true. She had a free schedule because the Vishal movie fell through and later she did not want to take up work to fill up her schedule.

She might have said that to get Anurag off her back, you know. That is a thing bollywood people do a lot. Politely turning down offers from directors to maintain good relationship. The no date exuse is a common one bit since she was not doing any work it would have not worked so she went for a more probable exuse. if she wanted to do that movie she could have asked Anurag to come back to her after the wedding or said yes with the condition they start shooting after her wedding like she did with Meghna. Meghan approached her in October so it was a bit late to start shooting before her wedding since the movie will require a lot of pre-production. Even after the wedding she did not give his script a nod. Recently Anurag said he approached her again and she is yet to give the nod... It sounded like she was never that fond of the script to begin with or wanted something changed before she can come on board.

But he is her husband and I was trying to make the parallel between both of them being married and him still actively working. That’s all I said. I never said why he didn’t leave work to plan for wedding. Why should he leave work to plan for wedding? Work should always be first.

She doesn’t have a problem with being married. She did a whole interview with her mother talking about exactly that, being married. She has always said it’s like paradise for her. She just doesn’t like when people try to change her name which is understandable. PC changed her name but Anushka didn’t. To each their own.
