What BS. There are many extremely talented people that don't make it because of nepotism. How can he invalidate their experiences?
Yes, he was able to make a mark, but not just because of his talent (no one would call him a great actor) - it was his ability to pick scripts, and also luck as a factor which presented him with those opportunities, which enabled him to land where he did.
To say all that didn't matter, and it is talent and only talent that got him here is bullocks.
Such a disappointment, this guy.

While what you're saying is correct, he said exactly what he needed to. No point in self-immolating.

Lots of people say that he is a great actor
I know alot of Nepo kids who say that they ONLY get that first movie. ONLY ??!!! Some people sleep in train stations, terrible living conditions, face casting couch, face rejection over and over, get demoralised, told to audition for TV, or they are ugly, too short, too dark, not movie material, etc just before they get a tiny small role in their first film. So getting a dream first film on a platter is NOT "only". And that is not the only advantage. Let's not forget that an outsider is out after a flop or two (unless they compromise). USELESS Nepo kids like Arjun, Sonam, Sonakshi, Ananya Pandey etc who have only produced flop after flop and horrible movies are still getting work. Abhishek (who is a decent actor but choses some terrible films) still gets movies.
So no. Many won't get their due because we don't see the thousands who don't make it. We only see and hear the success stories.
And Many get due where it isn't deserved.
Ayushmann look at how much time and struggle it took u to be “somebody” where else nepo kids get it all from the gecko
