Exactly. Shooting wouldn't have started if the full cast wasn't already in place. Salman has been preparing for two months -losing weight, getting work done on his face, injections, workouts and showing off that he's still young- to prepare to romance Alia. Most likely is that SLB saw the mock shoot and realized Bhai and Aloo looked disgusting together or that he can't act for nuts and called it quits. Salman ran to twitter to save his ego and be the first to post to make it look like it was his decision and even then he left leeway by calling it a postponement. It was Bhansali that ended everything and made it clear that the movie was shelved.

Sets got ready and salman is all prepping for his character and suddenly one fine morning slb decided to do mock shoot and bam !!!! HE reAlised salman and Alia as a disgusting pair ....🤣

Eww. But seriously, I think Bhai is spooked after 3 bad Eid releases. He really wanted a good director for credibility and he thought he could grab Alia's teen fan base by romancing her. It was a fool's errand because that doesn't happen. Even if kids and teens watched the movie, they still would not have become Bhai fans. It just doesn't work that way after you cross a certain age.

Bhai please retire instead of casting Daisy in your movies 🤢.

I am reminded of one of the reasons why I stopped liking Salman. Why O why would you push for someone as bland and unappealing and oddly accented Daisy Shah for a SLB movie? She is not fit for ANY role in realm of SLB’s aesthetics.

Anywho I am glad the movie is shelved instead of accommodating a Daisy Shah. Disaster for sure.
