Anushka S takes a sly dig at Rohit Sharma for unfollowing her on SM

It’s been a while since the two Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been involved in a hideous rift, owing to differences between the two. It was in 2018 that the former had unfollowed the Captain on social media, which had created a storm online. And now, Rohit has apparently unfollowed Kohli’s wife and actress Anushka Sharma on the social media site, which in turn has added fuel to the already existing brawl between the two players. The cricketer’s astonishing act has created a buzz among netizens on the Internet. Amidst this tiff, the Zero actress has taken to her Instagram to share an enigmatic post, which hints at Rohit unfollowing the actress!

Anushka shared a cryptic message on the photo-sharing app on Thursday that read, “A Wise Man Once Said Nothing- only truth can shake hands with silence in a mess of false appearances.” The actress’s post has left the netizens baffled, adding weight to the speculations of a rift between the two leading players.

Despite the two cricketers not being on talking terms since the ICC World Cup 2019 and post Rohit removing Virat from his following list, interestingly the latter still follows the former on Instagram!

For the unaware, the tiff between the two cricketers started years ago when Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan left the management company that Virat is associated with. Furthermore, there are even reports of the Indian team being divided between Virat and Rohit as the former apparently ‘controls the team selection negatively’ and takes ‘partial decisions’.

A CoA (Committee of Administrators) member had spoken to IANS on the issue of the speculated rift between the players stating, “The CoA cannot be reacting to reports in the media. If the players have any issue, they can/should bring it up with us. As far as the committee is concerned, there is no rift till the players talk of it with us.”

I think there's a rift and definitely there's 2 camps seems like. Is that why Virat wants Dhoni to not retire as per reports. Looks like Dhoni is the glue and they don't want this to blow up.

Rohit could actually be a better captain and has proved it in IPL , whereas Virat is a better batsman.

She wants to keep her personal things private. That’s fine. (Virat had unfollowed her when she postponed marriage and accepted Sultan). Others also must have done some illogical steps in the fit of anger. Why comment on others, when you refused to comment on Virat?
