Sonakshi is a good actor, far better than most overrated actors. Masand needs to revisit her performances. Sad thing is she didn't get much to show her performances due to her beauty and being bias of her body style.

Right. She also made far more impact for me compared to Alia, class apart in Kalank. She rarely got such roles though.

Her body might have been a hindrance at times but her beauty? What does that even mean? She herself is largely responsible for how her career turned out. She was always gravitating towards those massy flower pot roles. It’s only recently that she did roles like Nori or Akira or Itefaaq. I guess she was going the Varun way thinking she’ll earn a mass following and then experiment. Unfortunately something didn’t work for her. But it’s not fair to say it was industry or audiences’ bias.
