Ekta Kapoor to Reboot Rajeev K -Aamna Sharif Starrer Kahiin Toh Hoga!

After the trend of remakes in Bollywood, now television is following the same trend. With the success of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and Bepanah Pyaar, Ekta Kapoor is producing reboots of few more shows; the latest in the news is Rajeev Khandelwal-Aamna Sharif starrer Kahiin Toh Hoga.

Yes, that’s true!

However, the show won’t air on television but will stream on ALT Balaji.

According to a leading entertainment portal, Just like the original show wherein the story revolved around two central characters: Kashish and Sujal and their ego tussle amidst their love story, the plot of the new series will be quite similar to the original one. However the characters will be different this time.

The upcoming web-series will revolve around two Muslim families who are business partners. 'Sufiyaan' & 'Imtiyaaz', who are the successors of the families, will be shown as great friends. However, the lives will change post the entry of a girl named 'Kaaynaat'.

Not just that but the makers seem to have found the female lead for the show already. If sources are to be believed, actress Hebah Patel who was last seen in Telugu film 24 Kisses has been roped in for the part. Whereas, the makers are still looking out for actors to play other important characters. Muzammil Desai will reportedly direct the show.

Err there was nothing special about the story and not like TV hasn't copied that story and Sujal's character million times already. I don't know what is there to reboot about it. It was just their chemistry that worked for the show nothing else. The show fell miserably once Rajeev left. So its not like she didn't try to replace Sujal in the past. I don't think even now there is anyone who can play such an unlikeable character and garner love like Rajeev did. It takes talent and charm for that.

Pakistan’s Meer Abro is wayyyyy better than any reboot she can think of because the actors in this are amazing. The only reason the old KTH was watchable was because of Rajeev Khandewal’s acting. Everyone else was wooden in it. I stopped following it after Kashish married Piyush. God knows what happened after.

I tried to watch an episode of the new KZK for old times sake but it was horrible. Garish makeup, gaudy sets and the actors are awful.
