Two wrongs don't make a right. Loser
Wow.This kinda statement just proves that neither the actor or the director really understood the criticism of the character. Sanju whitewashed a criminal yes but him sleeping with 300 people...how is that problematic? A guy or girl can sleep with a thousand people lmao if all of it was consensual. What does that have to do with Kabir Singh's critique? Kabir Singh was criticized for being a misogynist's wet dream, for glorifying abusive behaviour, for getting a happy ending when his ass should have been in jail for attempted rape by threatening with a knife. How is sleeping with many people abusive? That's sl*tshaming if one has a problem with it.
What really bothers me about Shahid and Vanga is the fact that both of them are tone deaf while being fathers to daughters and that too in India. How is that possible.
Two wrongs don't make a right, Shahid. He's making things worst by talking nonsense now.
I didn't watch Sanju coz I didnt wanna see this crap. I didn't watch KS either. So for me both of them are crap.
So hez upset Ranbir/Sanjay Dutt never got bashed?
Trying their hardest to keep this film in ppl’s mind.. good luck it’s not gonna! This is like a cheap guilty pleasure that ppl stuffed their faces into and regretted the day after.. so yes, a big hit but of no cinematic value.. will be totally forgotten in a couple of years
but sanju did get bashed, it did hav its critics, it heavily whitewashed sanjay dutt and it got called out for it, so i don't know wat shahid is talking about, making excuses like this for the film doesn't help, even in his interview he was making so many excuses, the reality is many did not like wat was shown in the film, they thought it was misogynistic and triggering to women who have gone through similar experiences, those things made them uncomfortable and they didn't enjoy the film
plus sanjay dutt sleeping with 300 women consensually before he met his wife is not the same as the things kabir singh did
It was just a movie 🍿
Sure call him a s**t but if it was consensual who cares. sTd usiko hogi. But doestic violence n putting claims on girls n molesting at knife-point not same. Inko to consent ka definition brain me home krke Dal do to bhi nhi samjhenge

Also regarding "hitting each other".
In school I used to hate it whenever I had to fight this bully. He was taller and well built. And I used to always get trashed in the end.
Well what we guys don't understand is that (in most cases, and I've known exceptions!) guy hitting girl is never same as girl hitting guy. Imagine getting into a pyaara but serious hitting match with a WWE wrestler. Now would you enjoy that 🤪
In a previous post you said: "These are sanskaari movies where girls wear modestly and abusive boys do their thing. We are undoing all progress on feminism and going back to being Neanderthals "
Unequal standards. Feminism is about equality -- giving women the same rights as men, treating them like equals. It's not about giving women special treatment because they are women. If girl can hit guy, guy can hit girl -- individual strength doesn't really apply.
You can't be like "guys can't hit girls" but "girl can hit guys" because girls are weaker than guys, so it doesn't feel the same. I think that's misogyny?
What if you have a skinny little dude trying to hit a WWE wrestler (Lita, Trish, Karma, Chyna (when she was alive), Charlotte, Sasha, Bayley, etc.) ... teek hoga kya?
The movie has finished it's run, why this sudden hullabaloo?
I have my share of problems with Sanju. That being said you cannot compare consensual sex with violence.
In general, for some reason, Indian society as a whole appears to be more comfortable with abuse and violence rather than sex. Films with gratuitous gore and assault are unquestioned, but intimacy between two people sparks outrage. Lets not even talk about nudity.
So it is not surprising that many people including celebrities find a toxic/abusive but intimate/committed couple more palatable than people with multiple sexual partners.
Personally, I don't care if someone sleeps with hundreds or one. I don't care if they engage in orgies or are into any kinks. I don't care if there is no love and sex is purely fun for them. As long as it is consensual and considerate. The second it turns violent, abusive, or there is zero consideration then the relationship is problematic. I don't care how deeply two people claim to be in love. I don't care how committed they are to each other. Violence in relationships is unhealthy, unethical and actually illegal.
