Its great but did ISRO say that they named Chandraayaan after the movie? Because Bahubali was a great king in ancient India, son of mighty emperor Rishabh and brother of Bharath.

Is ask because ISRO is not known to give in to all movie stars hype and stuff. They've always used Sanskrit names and such significators thus far.

They have named GSLV MK-3 rocket🚀 as Bahubali. Hope pragyan-rover soft lands near south pole of the moon. Hope our scientists succeed in studying lunar topography, mineralogy, elemental abundance, the lunar exosphere, and signatures of and signature of hydroxyl and water ice.

It was launched on 22 July 2*19 (2:43pm) from the Satish Dhawan space center at Sriharikota in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.

Hence, they named it Bahubali. They want to succeed in this ambitious project . Israel tried to soft land on moon recently and it couldn't. ISRO doesn't want to mess anything up, so they shifted the date from 15th July to 22 th July.

Pragyan- Rover will land on the lunar on September 7th.
