They are all hypocrite and liar. 🤢

Let’s segregate the issues here.

1st Issue: Fraud: She has Asthama and still smoking

Cigarette smoke can trigger asthma symptoms. Despite this, about 21% of people with asthma smoke, even though cigarette smoke is known to trigger asthma attacks. The prevalence of smoking in people with asthma is similar to, or even higher than the general community, being ~19% to 25% for European and Northern American countries.

2nd Issue: Hypocrisy

Celebrity advertising is very common. It is used for cashing on celebrity stardom. But what also very common is celebrity hypocrisy. Leonardo DiCaprio a passionate environmentalist, travels everywhere by private jet. Many such examples out there.

I agree she made a mistake when she used crackers at her marriage...

But the campaign in itself was not wrong. It was a harmless advertisement for society benefit.

3rd issue: Attacking Hindu Religion

She didn’t say ban celebrating Hindu Religion, Diwali. She just advertised don’t use crackers. Nothing wrong here in my opinion.

Priyanka Chopra just wants a controversy surrounding her. Otherwise, no one is as daft to lecture on something and do it herself (with photographic evidence) She just wants eyeballs on herself.

People aren’t trolling her for smoking despite being a asthma patient. They’re trolling her because she decided to preach to others using her asthma as a reason but here you can clearly see she doesn’t give two ducks about it, herself. The hypocrisy is setting them off on her. Rightfully so 😆

Honestly India should ban fircrackers totally. People will keep nipticking my religion your religion etc etc while smoke level will keep rising and Indian cities will year after year come in most poluuted lists. Khatam Kar do kissa ban all crackers for all time

I am not so sure how much smoking affects asthma though. I was asthmatic since childhood , and crackers always made it worse while cigarettes rarely did. I'm talking about passive smoking though. People smoking around me has made me cough a bit few times,nothing more. Doesn't mean smoking in public place is good though. Passive smokers actually get affected much more than active smokers,bcz they're directly inhaling it.

Asthma can go away for a long time too with decent medication. I haven't had any severe attack for years ,touchwood. So I don't think PC lied about having asthma. N smoking once in a while might not directly make her sick. Still can't be good for her lungs though. I was more irritated when she bursted crackers in her wedding

Isn't her mom a doctor? Then how is she allowing her asthmatic daughter smoke besides lagaaing sutta herself?
