Any case of sexual harassment has the problem imo. You can't really proof anything if there's no witness. Sometimes theres DNA witness. Most of the times there's not. It's my word against yours at the end. What is the decider is the social climate imo. In a patriarchal society women with a harassment accuse against someone vwill tell the truth at most times cz society is very shaming towards victims, the whole defense relies on proving the woman characterless,they even get shunned By society,or get threats from the accused. Not to mention the power play. A powerful person accused of whatever will get away . Look at Woody Allen. Look at Salman. Thus people tend to blv the underdog powerless one here cz very rarely will someone go against a powerful entity n it will be all lie. The accused even if rightfully accused will never admit to it....

Ranjan didn't exactly own up to being a harasser and he defended himself by saying harassment wasn't his intention, but something must have happened if he felt the need to speak against the accusations. However, I feel there should be some gradation as regards the status of those accused. I mean, sending lewd emails is nasty, but nowhere near as nasty as, e.g., raping someone.

The trend is dropping off in India now. It’s #12 but the damage has been done since the media picked up on it. It’s the weekend so don’t know if it will carry into the next news week.

i don't think Luv, rk and deepika expected that such a trend would happen, maybe they expected a slight reaction, but not so much outrage especially from her fans

if she isn't doing the movie then a confirmation will come soon, but if she is then they are going to stay silent about it until the reaction dies down

and if deepika has signed it i don't think she will walk out, she has always committed to a film that she has signed on the dotted line for

They will issue a similar statement about internal investigation as to the one regarding Vikas clearing him of all charges. Since his accuser is anonymous and want nothing more to do with him or the accusation that is possible. I think they will wait it out though till things die down.

Deepika's PR plan was to destroy her image especially on SM which lends majorly to her branding? Make it make sense.

Honestly it does feel like they all waited to see what would happen to Super 30 and DDPD.

Even Ajay talked about it in a Filmfare Interview recently

These people should know that she isn't answerable to anyone. They have done what they have to , it's like a warning for Deepika to stop being a hypocrite. She will think twice in future when she is doing such things. She already has so much money, she doesn't need to do these things. She is featured in Highest paid actresses all over the world in Vogue. She herself created the image of feminist and flagbearer for mental health. She should stick to authenticity and genuineness , which she keeps repeating in every interview of hers.

I will still be her fan, whether she does the movie or not but she is trolling us for a while.

I know that she could appear in Hollywood only if she sustained as a top actress in bolly but she should maintain her image too.

Yeah the fact that he actually kind of admitted shows something happened. And it doesn't take a lot to realize sending someone unsolicited nudes is crime.
