Though I have not watched both films, I agree with her. We cannot justify female violence saying "such girls exist". One will get away saying "People like Kabir Singh exist".

Yes they exist. That's why you portray. But don't glorify their problematic part.

Secondly, the director being asked, why he wants to make Bollywood movie. It is defenitely a silly question. If I extend that, KJo being a Punjabi should make only Punjabi films. Kapoors should only act in Punjabi movies. Hindi movies should only be made by UP and MP people.

Why can't a Souh Indian make a Bollywood movie? Is he not Indian?

Having said, I don't support this director. But I was least surprised by the interview. Earlier I had read, Arjun Reddy is influenced by his personal life. So I had guested, he must be this kind of a character. Andhra culture is still feudalistic. So we tend o find such people.

safeena was never shown to be a hero, safeena was shown to be a girl with anger problems, and murad broke up with her coz of her anger, when she hit kalki with the bottle she nearly went to jail for it but kalki didn't file a complaint, zoya never said her anger was right or that it was just her showing her 'love' for murad, safeena's behaviour was shown to be problematic in the film and everyone thought she was insane

this rangoli is trying to say kabir and safeena are the same thing, thats ridiculous, what is being shown in kabir singh is completely different to wat was being shown in gullyboy, murad did not sleep with anyone like this rangoli is claiming, murad only kissed kalki once and safeena was very hurt and angry at him for wat he did, she didn't just blame kalki for it she also blamed murad, unbelievable how rangoli is twisting wat actually happend in the film

and zoya showed in the movie why safeena is the way that she is, she has an abusive and controlling mother, she isn't able to able to live the way she wants, she is oppressed, thats no excuse for her behaviour but it explains why she behaves that way, in kabir singh there is no explanation for kabir's behaviour

loos like she has a problem that gullyboy did better at the box office than manikarnika and that gullyboy won the NETPAK award at the Bucheon international film festival, manikarnika was at the same festival and did not win so now she is after gullyboy

and she thinks people didn't praise manikarika to skies coz they are hindu phobic? this rangoli and kangna need to stop with these rediculous tweets

The never ending attack by Kangoli on people for no reason is so so frustrating.And the rate at which these sisters are getting offended is worrying.Sick of the drama now.

Me too. This is purely about Gully Boy, a movie directed by an Akhter starring Alia which released two weeks post Manikarnika with a lot more fanfare and love from the industry to critical acclaim and commercial success. The movie won and Award in an international festival where Manikarnika was also screened, that must have been the trigger point.

Even when she was feuding with Deepika Kangana always had nice things to say about Ranveer took his comment about KangRan dating sportingly saying that he is her friend so he is just being concerned about her love life. Post the DeepVeer wedding she lashed at RK and Aloo only for not talking about politics and social issues even though both Ranveer and Aloo gave similar evasive answers. She just mentioned what Ranveer said in passing with no brick brats thrown at him. Ranveer is just collateral damage by association here.
