Also unlike Sandeep Zoya never defended or tried to normalize Safeena's role when questioned about it. Sandeep tried to normalize everything problematic shown in the movie when he was asked about it.

Also didn't a south director accuse Kangana of hijacking a movie he directed and stealing the director's credit from him? Back then Rangoli was busy defending her sister's actions and bashing the south director on twitter.

KJo is criticized for everything. One minute, he's the all powerful movie mafia. Next minute, the likes of Sara and Kangana are showing him his place. Dharma has had mediocre to bad run in the past 3 years where all their big collabs underperformed and yearly only one or two raked in some profits but Karan spends much more on image and brand building so financial constraints aye honge. YRF ko aisi koi dikkat nahi hain coz unki jo movies underperform ki hain wih sab small budget ones hain and thugs ke paise Adi ne kama liya much before the theatrical release. You2 is clearly exaggerating the scenario and overhyping kangana and her reach.

More than money Karan lost goodwill coz he sold kaccha aata in the name of parantha. Yash johar ka goodwill was dharma's capital and Karan evaporated it.
