This thread gives me serious food for thoughts. Not sure anymore whose fans are worst, Shahid or Ranbir’s. I am so confused.

I am willing to open a new thread with a formal congratulatory note to Shahid and his fans if they pledge to stop opening a new Kabir Singh thread every other day.

Guys, he did well, well done, bravo 🎊🎉. Please shut up now.

A serial killer will dominate the news more than an embezzler.

----------

To give due credit to Shahid he has indeed given the performance of his life and carried a major solo hit that keeps soaring in collections. His impact though is inflated because of the controversy surrounding Kabir Singh.

Head to head - Shahid and Ranveer have both given commendable performances and both have broken the mold and assumptions about their range. As someone who finds Shahid Kapur as an underrated star, I truly wish that he had a better role to make a big impact with.

Yeah negative impact supporting seniors having superiority on juniors, doing drugs, drinking, slapping woman and lot other things. Worse thing is he says he relates to the character.

While Ranveer made positive impact doing a film like Gullyboy which made rap a kind of mainstream and contributed alot to rapping industry.

TOH had big opening numbers, but in just a few days the collections plummeted down and now people just remember the movie being a flop, coz the content wasn't good enough

First and foremost i always believe it is writing and execution that is responsible for a success generally unless it is someone like Salman.

Any actor would want fans to emulate them and the role becomes iconic when fans associate the character with actor like for AB, SRK, Salman. They became the character. With Shahid as Kabir, is dicey. The role is misogynistic, narististic, abusive, egoistic, alcoholic, drug addict, sex addict ( not sure) to the extreme and worse is the director tries make it sound as normal and nice thing to do. Relating with the character is neither advisable nor happening. The movie unfortunately is doing very well at BO but does it mean that the character is worth celebrating?

Can Shahid be proud of Kabir? Can anyone ever appreciate a man like Kabir in their loved one's life?

Shahid may have a super hit or BB but he will never get the adulation for Kabir.

Ranveer has definitely done better roles in this sense.

Idk what the post was since the content is removed but yeah he made a bigger impact than ranveer. Even though people liked GB but KS is a rage. Me and my brother watched the movie fdfs but he still talks about that movie. Everyone is still talking about ks and shahid!
