In the UK, we have sixth form which means that once the five years of secondary education are complete, you have the choice of progressing onto an addition few years at the same institute for a course of one's own choice.

No if she has turned 19 that means she has finished sixth form and is headed for uni or wherever she is going to in the US. But I still wouldn't call finishing sixth form graduation..

Yeah, there's college after sixth form and then university. Plus, Ardingly is an independent school so the education is funded by parents and it is not limited to a specific age group.
