Burning because of who's success? Shahid's? LMFAO. Gimme a freakin' break. Nobody cares except the new misogynistic dudebros fanbase Shahid will now have.

And Pathak shouldn't be surprised at all. Most Indian men are exactly like this Kabir character. Any woman who has ever attended college in India will know what exactly am talking about. In this 'woke' world all they do is keep it repressed. But they come out in hoardes to watch their deepest ugliest fantasies projected on screen and they support it with gutso. They can't say 'oh I like inflicting pain on women' I like feeling like we're the superior gender and women are my toys to play and beat up' because society has forced them to keep their thoughts locked up but oh boy do they like supporting utter toxic violent misogyny and masculinity in the guise of the internally angsty lover boy.

I wonder if these men who are celebrating this version of 'a man' will like their daughters to ever meet someone like him. But then, perhaps they absolutely will. One more person to beat up their daughters and keep them in check I guess.

The collections are actually shocking and just shows the mentality of Indian audience. Men love watching other men being dominating and showing off their toxic masculinity while women love watching other women being treated as doormats 🤢

Really? Burning?

Shes raised very valid points and a lot of her points are backed by data/information. That is not an emotional petty response- that a well articulated, valid criticism of a piece of patriarchal garbage hidden under the guise of creative license!

Surely, you do not see everyone who disagrees with you as a small minded petty person?

That's the problem of the people who are burning, they are labelling those people as misogynistic who have been either liking the movie or praising Shahid's acting. We can clearly see whether "nobody cares" or not. Undoubtedly Shahid was phenomenal in delivering his performance. So if he gets much more recognition and fanbase, then surely he deserves it. You don't have to mock the audience for that. Remember, an actor is not the character. In fact Shahid Kapoor himself told that "Don't be a Kabir Singh."

And those little boy drag Queens are so woke right. I'm pissed that the MSM appropriated this term from the new age truths ayers and then turned it on its head.

No doubt, films can be an extraordinary force for good, for transformation, for positive social change, influence and impact. At this moment in our human history, there is a need, more than ever before, for new diverse voices to be heard. Good and bad...

As a woman, I'm encouraged by the outcry and the dialogue that is happening. People are becoming more and more aware of the social and economic issues surrounding sexism. In fact, the popularity of the film tells me that we have more work to do!
