How woke is Bollywood?

Now I am not saying Bollywood should become annoyingly PC like Hollywood but can our industry at least acknowledge how problematic some people and movies are. People like Salman(especially him), Sanjay dutt, Kangana are still celebrated, Nepotism and privilege thrives, people like KJo and Kareena, Sonam get a free pass to act like elitist snobs. Also I have hardly seen any Bollywood celeb talk about any social issue, they only speak up once or twice when some news is trending and then forget about it😒

When will this change?

Yea, we should stop worshipping them for their fakeness and Stan only the real good natured ones. Then it might change..

Although I feel that cancel culture in Hollywood is a bit harsh but there are so many people in Bollywood who deserve to be cancelled... Sadly I see so many "woke" liberals worship them😒

It does not need to change.. People need to change their expectations of Bollywood.. Their job is to entertain via films or their work and thats about it..

BW is not woke. I don't like when people are so PC over everything either but it's not the films, but the people behind the scenes of the industry. When we have actresses sliding their co-actors comments under the rug and continue to work with these criminals, when people can't even come forward about abuse or things that happen to them, then it's society to make others feel safe. Sadly, lots of people worship these moronic celebs and don't see the irony or anything wrong. So I won't blame BW in general, just the people.

I dont know what cancel culture is, but I think Hollywood celebs are not judged as harshly..... and hence can be more real.....

and some of them are so devoted to causes and people also understand and appreciate them for it..like Chris Evans always tweets about Trump politics and other causes..... same is with few other celebs too........

our celebs also do that, but few take one or two cause as their life long mission...... rest just tweet to get attention.......
