A Bought house/Land/property/Shop appreciates in its value,……. Any expensive Car/furniture bought depreciates in its value,…
Timely purchased God and keeping it for long term also appreciates in its value,…. The Money lying in Bank CDs/MM and checking a/ c always depreciates invisibly, as it cannot sustain the outer on-going high inflation rates,.. and hence losing its value in terms of purchasing power,….
Property/RE also needs its maintenance, but still over all it appreciates,… Plus you have smthg concrete in hand,…… ! If you sew the cash in your Bed mattress, it’s value is in Govt’s hand, as they can blindly print other millions of notes and can dilute its value,… and that’s what is going on for last 7+ decades,.. before Independence our 1 Rupee was even stronger than a Dollar !
Wisely invested chunk in all well diversified portfolio of stocks/Bonds of all diff sectors, categories and company sizes also over all balances well, Some good funds if properly been diversified like Vanguard has many good funds with low service charges,… works well over a time,..
ETF, I Bonds and E- Bonds are at his low performance now,.. and may/may not work well, which needs proper know-how, knowledge and to invest at right time, and no touching for 15-30yrs,.. but right now their rates are low,…
So, that’s all about money,…. ! Hard investing sense is also needed besides hard earning capacity, and you have a good-night sound sleep and Money will do the work for you,……
I have seen many incidence sin my own family,who had 1 lakh , 20+ yrs ago,.. and kept on investing in Bank CDs and safest MM funds, have lost its all value,… On the other hand, those other relatives who had nothing but a torn tattered and shattered house they were living in, was about 30000 Rs value at that time, have been rich by doing nothing , as House value have appreciated a lot today,…
Other than this, like our Raul baba says,… “ Money and Happiness is simply a state of mind,…. And every one have his/her own perceptive about happiness and Wealth,.. in terms of good health/ good life partner / good family values and family members / good friends and neighbor / Enjoying nature and open sky,.. / Yoga, meditation,Sadhu-life / peace of Mind,… and what not ! Definition of Money and happiness varies from person to person,… just like,… they say,.. Beauty is in the eyes of a Beholder or a Beer-holder !
