Mac, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder are high end makeup brands not budget friendly at all. Their market is limited because of the prices. Mac, BB and other high end expensive makeup have always been popular in the richer circles not in the masses. Mac and other high end cosmetic brands have been around India for a couple of years yet recently they started using celebs to endorse the products. That too newbies who will never charge high fees.The reason they are not trying to get top A-listers to endorse the products is because even if they did get a DP or Kat or Aloo or Bebo the huge fees A-listers demand will not justify the pofit returns or exposure because they are too damn expensive for masses. L'oreal, Maybelline, Lakme, Revlon, Colour Bar are still the more popular go to brands of the consumers and market leaders in India. Newly introduced Nyka is doing great as well.
