Arrey baap! 🤣 What good "expressions" was she giving? All the songs in Bharat have been so boring and Katrina looks like a puppet when lip syncing to songs. So weird and unnatural she looks.

I mean I understand what you are saying, she has shown improvement and should get kudos for that but to call her the queen of expressions is just too much of a strech. I don't think the problem earlier regarding Katrina's acting was the fact that Indian audience tends to like dramatic/theatre like acting as some may imply. While that is true, I do think Katrina in the past acting suffered with not only her accent but also due to her expressionless face, for instance watch Jab Tak Hai Haan 99% of the movie besides maybe the songs she has the same blank expression on her face, even in moments of the film that would require a great deal of emotion. Her best acting role with most expressive was the old Ranbir one, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

That didn't really matter because whether people admit to it or not, most people watch Katrina because she is good looking and they like watching her dance. Also because she is able to give chemistry to certain co-stars like Akshay and Salman. Audience knew she wasn't the greatest at acting and they didn't mind, because that is not why most watched her in movies. Katrina however is getting older and is staring to reach that age where bollywood women prospect aren't too good. Before the movie ET2 with Salman who career was not looking good at all. I'm guessing she realized if she wants to survive in this industry as she is getting older, she can no longer depend on her dances and looks as those will fade, so knows now that improving her acting is also needed now at her age and this long in the game.

Her hair style looks horrendous in Bharat and her acting is same old same old.

Whoever thought about that hair style. Ughh

She looked good in Zero from what i saw from trailer.

I never paid that much attention to Katrina and her expressions or lack of before. But I can see and gel with what people are saying here.
