is karan johar too involved?

I know he is a famous producer. but is he too involved with the careers of actors/actresses?

he plays a huge part in promoting actors whether it be through KWK, even through his casting, his connections, etc.

He has the ability to both break/ and make an actors career. But is this fair?

I personally think he goes beyond his duties as a producer and ruins potential for it to grow and expand.

He promotes the actors hugely and why not ? He is a bussinessman and this field is all abt bussiness ..then why not promote the actors he wants to ? Recently people accused him for not attending kalank promos and how he ditched it despite his father’s dream project blah blah blah.....and now says he promotes the actors hugely and what not ..aakhir tum log chahte kya ho from him ?

And what was that he break and make the actor thing ? As if he is some god ? Audience are the ultimate judges who make and break the actors career not kjo or someone who promotes themm..ofcourse he promotes alia like no tomorrow but is kalank a hit ?

Well, doncha know that everyone needs a boogeyman to spread their specific narrative. Not gonna absolve Kjo completely coz the dude has his flaws but Jesus the real estate this guy has on some people's mind is pretty noteworthy!

yes he would. she's more inherently talented than alia imo and she's prettier according to me.

also alia is a prime example of someone who would NEVER make it. but he made her career.

its not just about promoting. you are not even answering the question. it is asking if he is too involved? its either yes or no.

if its no, than its a no. why are you so hell bent on defending him and feeling attacked. is it b/c he is associated with alia..who you are a fan of? if so, than I will never be able to win here b/c at the end of the day you guys benefit from that and see nothing wrong with it.
