It's good to see Actresses like tapsee and Kriti raising voice against partiality in films success credit. Everyone works hard as much as every other , and Male actors gets to walk away with the credit maximum times.
Film is collaborative effort from all, Success or Failure everyone should take stand and accept something went wrong.
Will the Actresses ever ask for their share of mistake if unfortunately film fails at the Box Office. Or it doesn't work like that?

Kangana took home the biggest paycheck during Rangoon (1st for woman I think)She avoided the topic after the film failed and it became all about nepotism

Let's see them get their fair share of roles and plaudits first.

There's VERY few roles that are great - for the female actresses in BW.. And usually they go to 2-3 actresses.

The rest struggle to make something out of minimal, roles or some good roles in movies with tiny, tiny budgets- thus.. missing on the chance of those movies being seen and appreciated ..a nd for them getting their due recognition.

Tashkent files was on 100 screens in India. How can Shweta 's Tashkent Files 100-200 screens compete with Alia's Kalank on 4000 screens?

Unless one REALLy wanted to see the movie Tashkent Files and was prepared to drive /travel quite a way../ there weren't many chances to see her in Tashkent Files.

Deepika returned her fee after Tamasha did not do well. I guess that counts as sharing the burden of flop.

Firstly most of the roles that are written for women are so miniscule and insignificant that the highlight of the role is the one git song of the picture

It's only in the case where the roles are equal or the women have a greater role that they ask for credit....

Btw which male actor is eager to take credit for a flop? (leave out the khans).... Flop ka credit already automatically ho jaata hai in terms of future offers/lower price for both male and females..

I absolutely agree with point you made. But if we consider Badla, Tapsee's performance wasn't any great. it was underwhelming said public and critics alike. It's not that she elevated film to new level.

Film was backed by RCE, and starting Amitabh had fairly good showcasing when released. Film worked, no doubt she deserves a mention and credit but if film had flopped and some article said Amitabh starter or RCE's film flopped , would she have taken stand and said I was part of the film too and I have fair share in its failure?? I think Not.

You mean like Alia taking the failure of Kalank and tossing it aside ' I have more movies coming..move on' .type?

If everyone was getting roles so well written .. and so juicy.. as she does.. then I'd agree.

Until then.. well.. let Alia take the blame first ( but she didn't , did she? she was actually very silly answering).

And yeah let's see the emen paying the money back. I think only one did..rest..

Right now, unless you are Deepika, Pryianka, Katrina, Kangana, Kareena or Alia.. you have very small chance to get a huge movie with a good role and a good buget /story. You either get flowerpot role, or small riole.. or a small budget.

Everyone else gets smaller stuff.. sometimes SO small that, evenn if they are BETTER than the entire cast or better than the 'current A lister females'.. no one even notices.

Don't worry, Kriti will make PR articles compiling the good reviews she got, just like she did during Raabta's disaster.
