Not really I follow her social media feed and she does have some loyal fans . She has atleast 15 fanclubs in excess of 10000 followers and some with nearly 150000 followers. Most of the hate she gets hapeens only when she doesn't wear Indian clothes and is wearing gym shorts which for some people is vulgar.

Agreed he is a better actor but Dhadak was marketed as Janhvi's debut and it earned the maximum amount of money in the deccan region(due to Sridevi's popularity). Hence most producers must have seen that Ishaan's actual debut didn't work (beyond the clouds) eventhough he is a good actor but dhadak worked because of Janhvi.
This might be fickle but thats how bollywood works.

I just checked sara has fanpanges one with 390k followers, other with 375k followers and third with 219k followers 😆

Its not just about followers always here its about who can act and who cant. Jahnvi was bad in dhadak in my opinion. I am saying it even though I watched the film for her (got excited for a newcomer 😆) and again i was excited for sara's debut and it didnt look like her debut film. She was actually really good.

Yup Sara is more popular on social media but that doesn't mean janhvi isn't popular.

Her film was a bigger hit than Sara's and Dhadak had the highest opening day ever for newcomers. So it was not a bad debut in any way. Dhadak's TV premiere was also one of the most watched of the year, so just because some people think she is bad doesnt mean she was .

Sara's role was the same in both her films , she acted like a bubbly girl which she is in real life. While janhvi is quite shy and demure and had to act like a confident girl which is polar opposite her real life perosnality. Also janhvi was good in all her emotional scenes which can be hard to act .

Umm but according to you sara's debut was succesful and janhvi's was not yet both of them had similiar lifetime gross even when Sara was paired opposite an established actor(SSR) and janhvi opposite a newbie.

Kedarnath had SSR but the movie wasn't sold on his name. The whole buzz was around SAK. Also, Kedarnath was banned in Uttatakhand.
