Might get dubbed as sometimes acid damages vocal chords too. Also multiple surgeries change the way a person talks I have worked closely with a survivor and the struggle never really ends for them. Hope Chhapaak is a sensitive portrayal this is one issue which needs a mass reach and awareness and really hope Deepika and this movie brings it to the cause.

Her name in the movie is Malti. Read before you dig out half baked articles. If it was a biopic why would they change the person's name. Deepika herself said in a recent interview that it is not lakshmi's biopic.

ekta kapoor was the producer of 'The Dirty Picture' as well. she clearly said that TDP wasn't Silk Smitha's biopic..but we all know what people believe about the film..
