Why did zero not work ?

I liked the movie , but don't understand why people didn't like it. What did you think of the movie ??

It was incoherent. It was five-six different films in one. It could be a film about a girl in wheelchair becoming a NASA program head, a dwarf and a girl in a wheelchair finding themselves, an alcoholic heartbroken superstar, a dwarf and his favorite actress, an Indian going to Mars or a documentary about a chimpanzee and Malika Dua going to Mars. Why did it have to be all of them 😆

It wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be

First half was hilarious, 2nd half went downhill

Story/ screenplay was really bad, hotchpotch and all over the place, cannot believe ALR and Himanshu ruined the story like that

Dwarf hero with nasty, unpleasant character can not elicit either symapthy or liking in audience heart.

SRK and Kat acted well but good performances cannot save a movie if script is bad

Story shd have been abt the dwarf realizing his dream of meeting his favorite star but then getting disillusioned when he finds out abt star's real nature (like Fan) and then he returns to his real love in his own hometown (Anu shd have been a small town girl with high aspirations, not a NASA scientist)

That said, Zero was still not as horrible as it was made out to be, its obvious why it was trashed so much immediately after its release.

Also I watched TOH recently and even that film wasnt as horrible as it was made out to be...

Much worse movies than Zero and TOH have become hits so its obvious whats going on but people here will still be in denial

Maha bokwas movie. Worst than dilwale and jhms combined.

I mean Anushka acted so bad. I think her acting itself ruins 50% of the movie. Next is SRK. And Last 30 minutes.

By the way now that we are discussing, why was Anushka shown half Punjabi - half Afghani? Any coherent reason or just ainvayi?

Aafia's father comes to India and gets to know about Bauaa. Before that knows nada nulla. What stupidity man. Beti ne cards chaapva diye aur yeh hai ki.. 😆

And NASA? NASA? Logic wese bhi kam hoti hai Indian movies mein. Lekin stupidity should go in flow with story. Na story, na flow, na screen play. Add to it ghatiya acting by leads. Fantastic recipe for Headache.

There is something going on. Yes. I am done with 54 year olds acting like they are 24 in their movies! Hadh ho gayi. It has nothing to do with them being Khans. All superstars have their decline. It's natural.

Now is there some vile push to remove the Khans from their superstardom? Yes of course. There are people who seem to hate the fact that the Khans rule Bollywood. No doubt about that. Which is extremely sad and heart breaking to me. I wanted to be an Indian as a kid (I am from a neighboring country) as I thought minorities in India could become superstars. Kya lajawab country hai! Ab I don't think so. Same hai...sab same hai.😆
