varun has so much energy in him and he looks killer wearing a patani...very rare we see him in traditional but when he wears it..he looks dashing and amazing in it n of all his films he did..Kalank definitely explored his best looks...film by film he grows on me n i fall in love with him...he looks good with kiara too...for a varun's personality this song looks dull but his energy...aura...screen presence...dancing n his chemistry with kiara makes up to the song...amazing performance by varun..

coming to the sequence...why the hell he is dancing when his love is getting married to a man whom she doesn't love at all...thats weird...real weird..while marrying aditya..there was tears in alia's eyes n the scene shift to happy varun dancing...it doesn't make sense at all🤣

lastly i want to add..varun-alia is a legend couple of this gen...we can definitely add them in legendary jodi list..they have an aura n repeat value

Ditto!!! I expected to see some intense number or sad number with Roop getting married, and Zafar being heartbroken and seeing intensity.

I found that unfair that the girl who is in the song herself was not even in the event for whatever reasons I don't know, i'm sure her scheduled could have been managed. Even pari was at the promotion event for janemaan aah. Oh well dharma ki karname... if kriti's song gets launched beware.. I like her look goes with Zafar's pathaani vibe.

Loved the song ..varun danced like a dream ..tune is catchy too ..grows on u ..will become chartbuster i feel ..

About the story ..this is my guess ..Aditya and Sonskshi r childless couple ..Sanju baba wants heir fr his family ..So alia comes in picture as 2nd wife of aditya though aditya continue to love his 1st wife sonakshi ..alia might b some orphan brought up by sanju baba so she force to marry as per order against her wish ...

While this marriage going on ,In parallel other side Madhuri as courtesian and her son Varun is introduced who r happy in their own world ..

Then comes Partition ..During partition Alia gets separated fm her husband Aditya and lands up at madhuri ka place where she meets varun too ..

Alia had to b sent back to her home ..so after few days stay madhuri ask her son varun to escort Alia to other side of border ..During this journey alia varun fall in love but hide the feelings bec hey alia is married 😆..

Alia finally reach to her family but sanju baba refuse to accept alia who is now a kalank on their family bec she afterall spend so many days with a muslim guy though she is all pure but this is how the kalank title comes in picture..

When madhuri finds out ,she will appear in pre climax to tell sanju baba that u too r a kalank fr your family as varun is your illegitimate son ..

Then aditya vs varun ..sanjay vs madhuri ..aditya alia varun sonakshi angle etc etc with someone dieing in climax ..Movie over 😆...

I watched the video 3-4 times and I realised that this is Zafar's entry song. Obviously, the scenes shown in this promo video won't be the same as in the film... This is called build up. They want to create an intrigue factor.

The marriage sequence and the song are not interrelated.
