About the story ..this is my guess ..Aditya and Sonskshi r childless couple ..Sanju baba wants heir fr his family ..So alia comes in picture as 2nd wife of aditya though aditya continue to love his 1st wife sonakshi ..alia might b some orphan brought up by sanju baba so she force to marry as per order against her wish ...While this marriage going on ,In parallel other side Madhuri as courtesian and her son Varun is introduced who r happy in their own world ..Then comes Partition ..During partition Alia gets separated fm her husband Aditya and lands up at madhuri ka place where she meets varun too ..Alia had to b sent back to her home ..so after few days stay madhuri ask her son varun to escort Alia to other side of border ..During this journey alia varun fall in love but hide the feelings bec hey alia is married š..Alia finally reach to her family but sanju baba refuse to accept alia who is now a kalank on their family bec she afterall spend so many days with a muslim guy though she is all pure but this is how the kalank title comes in picture..When madhuri finds out ,she will appear in pre climax to tell sanju baba that u too r a kalank fr your family as varun is your illegitimate son ..Then aditya vs varun ..sanjay vs madhuri ..aditya alia varun sonakshi angle etc etc with someone dieing in climax ..Movie over š...
