do parineeti, kriti, shraddha lack potential to grow?

I want to see these girls, esp kriti and parineeti in a lot more films. these 3 along with alia are a part of the next gen of actresses. alia is way ahead of these three in terms of performance. but do they have potential to rise up with future releases and reach a level of stardom? shraddha i agree is debatable as she is pretty popular among masses. but imo she still lacks a level of performance delivery.

I picked these three because they do have a fairly large fan base compared to the likes of sanya malhotra, yami gautam, etc.

sara/janhvi are too new so i didnt include them

Both Pari and Shraddha are under-utilized and lack strong mentorship/support. If we talk about potential, they definitely have more than Alia but the problem is that they dont know how to make it work.

It's not about potential, talent or beauty. It's all about the connection. You may anyway get away with acting, it's not the requirement to be a superstar.

Kriti, Yami, Disha, Kiara, Shraddha,Sara even Jhanvi (not Parineeti though) have got the qualities of becoming superstars.Only if they had opportunities.

But it's Alia who has got the best connection with Karan. It's not like she is so popular and talented that everyone wants to cast her, neither she is exceptionally beautiful, it's because every filmmaker is being asked to cast her.

I just hate that such average in every department actress is getting this best line up and these beautiful girls are losing out opportunities because of Karan.

Just imagine how great any of the above would look in her place in Kalank.

why not parineeti? she is talented and has a fan base.

so is talent not a requirement to become a superstar at all?

what qualities are you talking about?

and yes connection I agree can make you a star, like alia has.

I named kriti and parineeti b/c they have showed potential in films imo. disha has not at all imo. yami is not appreciated much at all.

If we look at the past superstars like Madhubala, Hema, Sri, Madhuri, Ash, Deepika they all were mesmerizing beauties and other superstars like Zeenat, Parveen,Priyanka, Katrina were super hot. They all had a great personality and huge popularity too. Acting can take backseat.

But unfortunately the next superstar has taken backseat in every area.

saal mai 4 5 bade projects aloo baby hi kregi toh kisi ko aur kaha milega mauka.🤓

I was a huge fan of aloo but itna zyada b aloo ko ni dikhana chahiye ki nafrat hone lage 🤔

Well Rani, Kajol and Jaya B were never super hot or gorgeous, still were the number one actors.
So yeah Alia is not something out of the box.

kaash it was all about looks. in fact i am so happy that an average looker alia bhatt is killing it at top!

you can look like million dollar and still fail. viday balan was ridiculed for looking fat once, i was so happy she came and shut all with her brilliant performances. she still wins awards and applauds for her beautiful performances.

gully boy was all about boys , rap, ranveer, and there was this little alia. i say gully boy is deffo the game changer. and how did she look in the movie. just average. hardly any makeup, fully clothed, it was only her performance was sparkling.

and don't worry, bhansali spends hours on his actresses to make them look like a dream. hopefully he will make alia beautiful too. for me she is just perfect now, an average looker, natural, adorable.

This fosho! ... Being an actress isn't about only "looks" ... it has to be backed up immense talent too .. At times even talent gets sidelined just becoz certain actresses bring "looks" for a project [-which is again very unfair] ... so everyone brings their share of "unfairness" when bagging projects ... Be it "looks, nepotism, cronyism, so on and so forth! ... So more power to those who make it work even if they falter in other departments! ... [Also don't get the whole "Alia isn't beautiful" nonsense ... she has a very pretty face .. just becoz she isn't a towering beauty doesn't make her beauty any less ... 😳]!
