See Padmavat is a different thing, because she was like Helen of middle ages India, so for her, beauty is a must.
Hence I never fancied Deepika in it, still don't, because I think her beauty status is super overrated, like I always she needs tonnes of good make up to look great. She is nice looking, hot cute girl, but not the ''every room she goes, she is the most beautiful'' type.
But like generally anyone playing period, why they have to be super gorgeous??
Like take Queen Elizabeth movie, Cate isn't a looker, but I don't think anyone can do better than her even remotely.

Pari was going to be a superstar. Then she decided to be hot instead.

OT ... I don't like watching "Parineeti" on screen AT all right from her very first movie... even if people deem her talented, I see nothing of the sort ... always see her playing same hyper character ... will never waste my money watching her on celluloid! ... Hence, I feel "connection" with audience is just as important along with "looks and talent"!

I don't mind her being average looking. In fact I would be rooting for her if she was an outsider and fought off competition rather than getting these robbed off from others opportunities served on a plate by a filmmaker

They definitely have!! Especially Shraddha , imagine her in kalank she would have look breathtaking gorgeous 😳 But I like aalia even if she is getting opportunities bcz of Karan good for her as it's her luck and luck is major factor for all and everyone success..

Kriti and Shraddha, I am indifferent ... If they star in good movies, I'll give them a chance! ... Tho Shraddha isn't that good of an actor ... Her "Aye Villain" still makes me cringe! ... Kriti is alright as well ... decent looking and OK actor ... but horrible when it comes to dancing! ... So all three don't have that "huge potential" imo ... they'll have to be super ambitious and go getter while majorly improving their craft if they want to be part of this rat-race!

Kriti, Yami, Disha, Kiara, Shraddha,Sara even Jhanvi (not Parineeti though) have got the qualities of becoming superstars.Only if they had opportunities.

But it's Alia who has got the best connection with Karan. It's not like she is so popular and talented that everyone wants to cast her, neither she is exceptionally beautiful, it's because every filmmaker is being asked to cast her.

I just hate that such average in every department actress is getting this best line up and these beautiful girls are losing out opportunities because of Karan.

Just imagine how great any of the above would look in her place in Kalank.
