Oh really? Well OBVIOUSLY they wouldn't tell Preity that Ash was replaced on SRK's encouragement considering that Preity and Ash are friends. And why would Ash say she was not fine with Preity working in VZ? I mean seriously!! Who, in their right mind, would tell the other that they aren't fine with the latter working in a film that was initially supposed to cast themselves? Just to show how hurt they were and make a joke of themselves? Obviously that's the reason Ash made an excuse. Ash was the first candidate considered for the role for Zaara and SRK had vowed not to work with Ash so he persuaded YC to replace Ash with Preity or atleast that's what the "unknown" source says: "Every time her name cropped up, Shah Rukh refused to work with her. She was Yash Chopra's first choice for Veer-Zaara. Shah Rukh convinced him to take Preity instead."

Now tell me SRK's not to be blamed. There maybe half truth in that article but if one can believe a pro-SRK article, one should also keep an open mind to a con-SRK article and vice versa.

and as stated in sum of the other posts that cuz of srk ash lost out on chalte chalte is sumthing that needs to be clarified more than just this.... firstly it was salman's fault that he was misbehaving on the sets of chalte chalte wid ash..( wen ash was part of this film)... so in my opinion as the producer of the film srk did the ryt thing by casting rani instead of ash, as his film wud have had problems if ash was in it due to ash's personal life, regardless of watever films that they have done, or how many times they have had chemistry... i mean there is more than just srk's actions in a picture, but sum ppl tend to blame it ONLY on srk .....😕

Look. How the heck is it Ash's fault that Salman burst into the sets? She was in anyway related to him and thus was not responsible for his actions. Producers should have enough sense to know that. You saying "...He did the right thing by castin Rani instead of Ash as his film wold've had problems..." again goes to show how self-centered and selfish he is. He cared not of her dignity but of his money. And he doesn't deserve to be the only one blamed, eh? I'm not saying Salman - he is as much to be blamed as SRK - however, he is not the part of this topic and thus I will say nothing further about him.

watever the case is or was, thats not the real issue, y shud we always think negatively about actors and actresses... if srk stated ( which who knows 4 sure if he ever did stated it) that he will work wid ash then y doz one purposely bring in negative comments about stars!...😕 i mean its not lyk ash is a megastar that now she shud just turn her face from srk if he stated he will work wid her 😕, and besides if dhoom 2 is a hit, its not cuz of ash's acting in the film, i mean cum on its really not even a film to judge according to acting skills ... and in my opinion seeing the person srk really is i think he is not a person who wud judge to work wid sumone according to their box office results....

If an actor behaves in a pathetic way, why should negative comments not be welcome? Whatever you say, what he did to Ash was wrong. Replacing her with Rani - ok I give him that one but you can't deny he was being extremely selfish. But asking YC to replace her with Preity when Ash was the one on their list is wrong and pathetic. And why shouldn't Ash give SRK the cold shoulder? His actions are most certainly worthy of them. I mean does he think she's something he can use when he wants and throw away when he feels like it? And what happened to his vow that he'll never work with her again? Gone with the wind? And what about Gauri's "thing" for not working with Ash? All gone when he needs them to be gone!! How can you not call them pathetic double standarded people? And people go blaming and dissing Ash for everything.

at the end if they do work then hope they create the same magic that they did before, but y always bring negative points in wen sumthing positive happens!

Why shouldn't this anger the Ash fans? Tell me one good enough reason justifying what SRK did, and I'll stop. I know it's not up to me to decide what Ash does with SRK's changing attitude but at the very least, I can comment on his double standards and selfishness, can't I?
