Shah Rukh has never disguised his indifference towards Aishwarya Rai. This also explains why Shah Rukh and Ash never came together after playing siblings in Mansoor Ali Khan's Josh and lovers from two different worlds in Aditya Chopra's Mohabbatein or Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas? However, now things have changed and SRK wants to team up with Ash once again. Our sources, however, say that Ash is still a little wary about working with him…

Why? Apparently, SRK is running out of options. "How many films can he do with Rani Mukherji and Preity Zinta? Shah Rukh needs a leading lady with stature. So besides the other two, this only leaves him with Ash. Naturally, the old bitterness is bound to fade away," says our source, adding, "She was the only heroine Gauri forbade Shah Rukh from working with."

But now it seems Shah Rukh is gradually undergoing a change of heart regarding Ms Rai.

There's a history to their alleged animosity. At one time Shah Rukh wasn't just keen on to have Ash as his co-star, he was even playing a match-maker between her and Salman Khan.

gr8 going SRK.....first u dump her lik a a hot poatto frm CC for no fault of hers.....jsut coz u didnt want to work with her, she loses out on so may good projects and now tht she's hada hit with D-2, SRK all of a sudden wants to work with her......gr8!!!! 😡

Gosh! SRK is such a pathetic man 🤢 . I dislike him even more than I used to. It was cuz of him she lost out on Veer-Zaara nd now he wants to work with her again? Just cuzza D2? What a *******!! I honestly hope Ash doesn't agree to work with Mr.Selfish. He thinks only he has dignity? Well, I sure hope Ash gives him what he deserves - the cold shoulder. And Mrs. Khan is not objecting now? GOSH! These people are so selfish and have pathetic double standards.

Ash is a dignified woman, mark you. As far as I'm aware of her personality (And believe me, I know a lot about her from my Anti-Ash days) , she will not just let SRK "bury the hatchet". How can she forget that it was cuzza that man she lost out on great movies - including Veer Zaara - where SRK persuaded YC to replace Ash with Preity? SRK thinks there is a way around everything with the starpower he has. Hopefully Ash will prove him wrong.

I hope she never works with SRK again. Who does he think he is ? 😡 Regardless of what he did Ash should now oblige and work with him ?
I hope Ash will not be forced to mend fences by her in-laws (almost!) Knowing how diplomatic they are I wouldnt be surprised

Ash can do whatever she wants, she is a strong woman that can make her own choices, as far as Shah Rukh is concrened he has patched up with Ash long ago, now if they work together I sure they will create magic on screen! 😃

As a matter of fact, Ash and SRK didn't patch up. A few weeks back an article which talked about the cold war between SRK and AB Sr. stated that SRK wanted to talk to Ash but Ash was stuck to AB Jr's side. Then it said something like "It may be recalled that Ash still has to forgive SRK for showing her the door from his home production(talkin about replacin her w/ Rani in CC after Salman created a racket on the sets of Aziz Mirza[?not sure?])" - not quite the same wording but you get the point.

This article has the full story - well most of the facts anyway - but if one doesn't wish to lay trust in it fully - their choice.😊

Ash herself dropped out of the cast of veer zaara.... preity herself stated in an interview that ash cudnt take out time 4 veer zaara so she just didnt do it, so yash chopra asked her to do the part instead, and then preity herself made sure wid ash if it was okay if she took that role.......ash said it was fine... so y blame srk, wen ash herself lost out on veer zaara??????????? 😕

and as stated in sum of the other posts that cuz of srk ash lost out on chalte chalte is sumthing that needs to be clarified more than just this.... firstly it was salman's fault that he was misbehaving on the sets of chalte chalte wid ash..( wen ash was part of this film)... so in my opinion as the producer of the film srk did the ryt thing by casting rani instead of ash, as his film wud have had problems if ash was in it due to ash's personal life, regardless of watever films that they have done, or how many times they have had chemistry... i mean there is more than just srk's actions in a picture, but sum ppl tend to blame it ONLY on srk .....😕

watever the case is or was, thats not the real issue, y shud we always think negatively about actors and actresses... if srk stated ( which who knows 4 sure if he ever did stated it) that he will work wid ash then y doz one purposely bring in negative comments about stars!...😕 i mean its not lyk ash is a megastar that now she shud just turn her face from srk if he stated he will work wid her 😕, and besides if dhoom 2 is a hit, its not cuz of ash's acting in the film, i mean cum on its really not even a film to judge according to acting skills ... and in my opinion seeing the person srk really is i think he is not a person who wud judge to work wid sumone according to their box office results....

at the end if they do work then hope they create the same magic that they did before, but y always bring negative points in wen sumthing positive happens!

I can just say...everyone has their own opinion...and in my view...SRK was right. 😊
