I am glad atleast some have made reasonable discussions rather than the usual name calling.
Now coming to what I said on expressing your thoughts and speaking up if that is what you strongly believe in.
Now some of you have made this about Rakhi Sawant's accusations which I am not aware of ...apologize. I was speaking about her general statements on Tanushree #metoo accusations on Nana Patekar which I despise and disagree with.
My thought process is that one should never stop themselves from speaking in what they believe in just coz it does not fall in the standard norms of society or industry esp if one feels strongly about it.
Like I always tell my daughter that you should never hesitate to express your thoughts just coz no one else feels the same way, or its not the usual or thinking " what others might say " ,..bcoz then I teach her to restrain her thought process and mold it as per what everyone else thinks is normal...
Right or wrong keeps changing with perspective.
for eg : I completely disagree and despise what some of the pseudo liberals talk during these Indo-Pak tensions but again if that is what they strongly feel about it , then they have every right to express it and they do .
whether they are right or wrong is another discussion altogether.
I disagree with it and so I strongly put forth my thoughts on it and speak against it.
Now coming to the Kangana speech, I agree with her on the need to not being politically correct all the time and let instinct take over...esp when she felt affected by an incident .
There were so many times when I have said..." oh god I feel like shutting his mouth with a tape" or slapping someone for their ridiculous interview" and that's my instinctive reaction to it .
Same way, she said that she felt like she wanted to go to the border, take the gun and fight ...that was her instinctive reaction...fair enough, I get that.
Coming to KJo question, she was asked about him and she answered honestly about her thoughts on it .
we all agreed that KJO is shoving Alia on to the guests, we all agree that he promotes Nepotism, we all agree that he did not take certain names deliberately in the "actress list", she merely expressed her thoughts on the same with regards to herself when asked.
point is, what is wrong for you may not be for me. I enjoyed her speech and agreed to many of her statements, you didn't and find it "crazy" and wrong ...fair enough
