Do you expect your enemy to praise your work?

lets say you are in loggerhead with someone in your field. You said so many things to him/her, blasted him/her and accused him/her of wrong doing which may be true to more or less. Now, do you Expect that person to praise you and your work? Is it fair if your family members blast him/her for not praising you?

It depends right?

For being on the opposite side of the Trojan War; Achilles, Ajax, Odysseus, and many other Greek Warriors were all praise for Hector. Achilles feels so guilty for killing Hector, that he declares a 12-day truce so Priam can conduct the last rites honorably.

Paris, on the other hand, was seen as a privileged pissant punk even by people on his own side.

Point is. If you are a respectable person, even your enemies will praise you. If you are a dishonorable person, even your friends will curse you.

There is no point in blasting anyone to praise anyone, because respect/praise is earned - not distributed like a soup kitchen meal.
