Ormax rankings are updated every month, fan following don't change every month. Ormax is based more on which actor is more in news, and given DP's overactive PR, it's no big deal for her to top. Last year, she was only in news because of her wedding.

My idea is simple, the actor who pulls more crowd at theatres is the bigger star. Alia gave the second highest women oriented film, also has a lot of hits down the years. DP doesn't even have starred in a female oriented film, hasn't done a meaty role for years. Only topping ormax, or getting brand endorsementa mean nothing to me.

And yes, Alia is at the top currently, and that's what matters. Otherwise even SRK is also called a Flop actor on IF.

500 Crore?😆 You know Dilwale is a bigger grosser than BM if you also count overseas?😆

And BM also had Ranveer, SLB and Shahid. The movie was not on DP's shoulder like Raazi was on Alia's

Why are you forgetting that between Raazi and Uri, there was Sanju which was a Blockbuster? Sanju made Vicky popular among the masses, and Vicky was the lead in Uri, not Yami, neither she's that big of a star that people will watch the film because of her short role.

I understand your point of view. but are you saying that the next female actress who pulls in a 100 cr and over film on her own as well as a number of success will be the new actress on top? what if alia delievers 2 flops in a row..will her past work be discredited? that would mean the actress who is on top is fickle. Deepika imo has maniained popularity and versatality in her over overall filmography where she is deserving of being called the top actress. i cant say this about alia.

but this is about perspective..no point arguing about it.
