Looking forward to both the films. Kalank seems a safe movie compared to Brahmastra. So Kalank.

Kalank. Because if a period movie is well-made the movie is definitely going to be a hit.
A superhero movie seems more risky in comparison to a period movie as this genre is a hit and miss with the audience mostly.

So?😆 Brahmastra also might not release this year. And you didn't mention in your OP that you are only talking about movies releasing this year. 😆
I read only about ambitious Dharma project, new gen stars and papa ki beti.😆

Supernatural love story. No superhero involved. According to ayan mukherji the director.

Afaik twilight did good business.😳.
Just an example to clear up a misconception.

OT: brahmastra. Although these 2 are the only movies i plan on watching in theatres this year.

Kalank wont do that well, I have noticed current young audience doesnt like films abt Partition or British period or Independance era films anymore. Of course KJo will hype the collections, underreport the distribution price and prove its a success, but it wont be a huge hit, somehow the leaked story of Kalank doesnt sound very promising in terms of modern times audience taste
Brahmastra ka bhi pata nahin, Ayan has taken up a genre which is outside his urban modern romance forte, so not sure how he will handle it

I love these -larger than life- type of movies, and also all the three main leads - Alia, Ranbir and Varun have my interest at this point...So yes, its both movies for me!
