Alia B Finally Opens up abt her Breakup w/ Siddharth M

In 2012, actors Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra made their Bollywood debut together with Karan Johar's film Student Of The Year.

The duo was not only praised a lot for their performance, but their on-screen chemistry was also applauded by many.

Soon after their film's release, rumours of Alia and Sidharth dating each other started doing the round, but the actors never made their relationship public.

Recently, during his appearance on Karan's show Koffee With Karan, Sidharth talked about his equation with Alia post their break-up and now Alia has opened up about the same.

While Sidharth had said that he and Alia haven't met after their break-up, the 25-year-old actress shares different views.

In an interaction with DNA, Alia talked about the Aiyaary actor's comment on the chat show and said, "Yes, I have watched the episode. Sid and I did meet actually."

"They had shot the episode much before we met so he must have said that. But we have obviously met recently and it was extremely normal," she added.


Further, talking about her equation with Sidharth, Alia said that she has a lot of respect for Sidharth, adding that they started off together in the industry, she has known his for a long time and there's too much history between them.

"Honestly, there will never be issues. I have nothing but just positivity in my heart for him. I'm sure he wishes the same as well. We have witnessed several milestones of our lives together. He spoke about meeting and chatting and we were fine. There are no bad vibes," DNA quoted Alia as saying.

On the work front, Alia has been in the limelight due to her recently released movie Gully Boy.

Apart from this, she will also be starring in Abhishek Verman's Kalank, Ayan Mukherji's Brahmastra and Karan Johar's Takht.

It never made sense to me why her and Sid got together in the first place and the same with the present couple. But i'm sure he will find someone much better suited to him.

From "Sid who? Malhotra?' to now having a lot of love and respect for Sid? She's so image conscious and I think actually stresses over her image more than even her PR and KJo do. After her own words backfired on her and Sid's words got him a lot of praise she's changing her tune and trying to act classy about her ex? Whatever lady 😆.

When did they meet? Because she makes sure to mention that too. During that trip to meet the PM both were pretending the other doesn't even exist.

She and Sid were never a couple. She had to come to Kjo's rescue after blinds suggested forced relationship and explanation. This will deflect things.

She and Sid were never going to be a long term thing, she comes across as way too high maintenance emotionally for a guy like Sid. But if the rumours are to be believed, maybe this change of tune is her realizing that the grass isn't greener on the other (RK) side after all and she probably shouldn't burn her bridges.
