BUT, Ekta launched Jennifer. Her first big break was Kasautii Zindagi Ki where she played a very popular character, Sneha which is what initially got her noticed and recognition.

DMG, SC, Beyhadh, and Bepannah all came after.

But Jennifer mostly did supporting role in Ekta's shows. Besides KZK, none of the characters of Jennifer are well known of Ekta'a shows. Even the character of Jennifer in Shaka Laka Boom Boom is more well known than most Ekta's shows characters. The character Sneha became really popular in KZK even it was supporting role and even today it's popular but Ekta didn't do that much benefit or favor on Jennifer's career like she did for Mouni or Gul did for Surbhi.

I think she let the fame get onto her. Post DMG, all the tantrums, price hike etc did not help her in any way. TV is a biz where anyone can be replaced over night considering there are so many actors/actresses. And she had this air of overconfidence that she perhaps is the best.

Honestly speaking, she was never a great actress to begin with. She got lucky & now she's also lost her looks. Her fans had the audacity to bash Jennifer & Sukriti. Even today they look insecure about her unsuccessful career and blame it on others. Lol, they claim as if Dill mill gayye was some iconic show & there queen is some diva lol. I guess her fans karma hit her. 🤣

Anyway, she was actually way more popular and had bigger fanbase than jennifer at one point. However, she failed to move further cos of her disinterest. Which is fair i guess, you're given a chance but you think you're too good for it. in that case you're bound to disappear, there's lot more ppl out there who want that kind of appreciation and fame that she achieved so easily in the beginning of her tv career. She was never a good actress to begin with, what attracted ppl the most was her innocent pretty face.
Her ardent fans are still holding grudges against jennifer though lol. They consider her to be the reason behind shilpa's career failure, i kinda thought the same at the beginning too cos i loved shilpa. But the truth is jennifer is career driven and shilpa wasnt. Jennifer has that go-getter attitude and shilpa is laid back who want things to come her way on silver platter.

Shilpa's fans are the most arrogant and stupid fans I had ever seen. They blame somebody else for their favorite actress failure. Funny that they have the gut to call Jennifer flop when their favorite actress couldn't save her own career. They are acting like Jennifer stole the role of Riddhima and became famous. They keep saying nobody knew Jennifer before DMG and she should thank Shilpa for leaving DMG. Otherwise nobody would know Jennifer. Lol, how stupid? I don't know how many people even knew Shilpa when she was working in DMG or how many people even watched DMG? It was a youth show. It's not super popular show with super high TRP like Naagin, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon or Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. As far as I know, the TRP of DMG was always low which was below 1 most of the time and it was only popular in online. So I don't know how that show made Jennifer popular when she worked on 5-6 shows before? I saw in 2014 how Shilpa's fans made post on IF during Jennifer's divorce time to bash her. One of the fan of Shilpa was so obsessed with Jennifer and called Jennifer so many dirty words. Her username was Manhoos JSG at that time. Rest of the fans of Shilpa and Surbhi were clapping at that time. One of them was Sunrise that made comment on this thread. It's like all those fans were enjoying during Jennifer's bad time and getting pleasure by bashing her but there is karma for everything. Today, Jennifer is ruling TV with million million fans but Shilpa is nowhere seen. Now her fans seems to worry about her career.

Exactly, even today her fans make post on Twitter to bash Jennifer because they think that Jennifer became famous by replacing her. To them, Shilpa was the original Riddhima and Jennifer was a replacement. Lol, I don't know if there is anything that is original or replacement that exist but her stupid fans will never understand it.

Her face has deffo changed a lot 😭 I hope she is fine in terms of her health.

Learning new things about shilpa.,.i always have this sympathy for what she went through in Telugu industry. Never knew she thinks high of herself.

I don't know what topic is about, but I used to find Shilpa AnanD so gorgeous at one point.
