Kangana Ranaut reportedly called up Alia Bhatt and suggested her to grow some spine. She further told her if her existence is all about being Karan Johar's puppet, she doesn't consider her successful.

Looks like the entire Kangana Ranaut and Alia Bhatt has taken another turn altogether. The Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi actress had recently launched an attack upon Bollywood stars in an explosive interview and had claimed that they absolutely ignored her and her Rani Laxmi Bai biopic.
The Queen actress had gone on to say that after Alia Bhatt had requested her to watch her film Raazi, she spoke to her and director Meghna Gulzar for half-an-hour. She was, however, left fuming when support was needed for her film and nobody stepped up to the plate and instead, ganged up on her.
In response to the same, Alia had said that she hoped that the Simran actress didn't dislike her as she hadn't intentionally done anything to upset her. "If I have, I will apologise to her on a personal level, she had said.
Now, in a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Kangana has launched a fresh new attack on the Gully Boy star Alia Bhatt. The Tanu Weds Manu actress reportedly rang up Alia and revealed everything that she talked about to the entertainment portal. The Rangoon actress was quoted saying,
"I reached out to Alia and asked her what makes her think Manikarnika is my personal controversy, it's a film whole nation is talking about and wondering why Bollywood is keeping quiet on such a relevant work...I asked her if I can be courteous and gracious to acknowledge her requests for encouraging relevant work that she does, why is she so scared to see my film. I suggested that she grows some spine and supports an important film about woman empowerment and nationalism...if she doesn't have a voice of her own and her existence is all about being KJo's (Karan Johar) puppet then I don't consider her successful...I told her if she is only focusing on earning bucks and not raise a voice, then her success has no value...hope she understands the true meaning of success and her responsibilities, Nepo gang life is simply restricted to give and take favours hope she rises above that.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt would next be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Gully Boy releasing on Thursday. Kangana would next be reuniting with her Queen co-star Rajkummar Rao in Ekta Kapoor-produced Mental Hai Kya, expected to release in March this year.
