But she is always fun in the interviews with SRK, Varun, Ranbir and particularly, Katrina. The Anushka-Katrina KWK episode is one of the funniest ones without a single remark on anyone. 😆

Also, last few years she had a lot more releases so she was every year. This year she doesn't. And without movies, you only see her in pictures on Virat's Insta. 😆

Anushka is competitive and wants to be the best but always falls short.. which has been the case since debut which fanned her insecurities to insane level. All actors r insecure but the ones who are successful are the one's who have found a way of overcoming the insecurities. Her preachiness and I am the best attitude stems from the fact that no one else is calling her a pioneer..! In short its her way of masking her inferiority complex by acting superior.!

^^True she reeks of an inferiority complex. I've never been able to stand her since day 1.

I think she's like any other girl out there! ... All of us "contradict and embody hypocrisy" time to time .. so does she .. I think she's very confident about herself and the place she's created for herself in BW! .. Insecurity, bad decisions, mistakes happen to the best of us .. Same is the case with her! .. We all second guess ourselves and try harder to do better .. again same with her ...

It's natural to have insecurities. It's part of human nature when we are unsuccessful. But, at some point of time , you overcome it even when you are unsuccessful. Then you live your life to the fullest. I find her very responsible celebrity and human being. When you compare to her contemporary actresses , like Deepika 😆, who thinks there is magical connection between her and other person and then finds out that person has written a book, in which she referred to her depression ,then she realizes she is just like her. I like Deepika , when she doesn't talk. She is way too nonsensical. But, Anushka isn't shallow, she may talk aggressively and might cut in but she doesn't mean bad. She is enthusiastic and opinionated and I would love to listen to a person , who is deep rather than a person who keeps ranting "I am genuine and authentic. So you should like me.

So "going under the knife" doesn't really negate the "confidence" she has in herself ... One can't be confident every second of their lives .. so it's fine! .. She's made a mistake and she's moved past it and will make sure to stay far away from making the same mistake again!

Also like others said "social anxiety" makes her interviews come across a bit OTT ... but she's pretty good in interviews with those who she finds comfortable! ... Again she's like one of us .. her nonchalant breezy attitude in BW makes her likeable fosho! .. Her graph in BW is very non-aggressive ... her focus is her work .. "Work and go home", that's her go to funda, which is much more likeable than her actresses and their annoying PR dramas! ...

Only time I majorly get put off with her is when she tries to "bully" her way out like she did during the "pick up the garbage" incident! .. Otherwise she's one "uber cool" chick types .. I like her take on feminism too .. not OTT in your face, but subtle which shows deep in her work! ..

So there! .. 😆 .. She can be ALL of that yet vey relatable! ..

Yes she talks a lot. But anushka is not petty or mean as such i think. Neither does she do breakup drama. Baat khatam matlab khatam.

TM, I don't agree when you say -- She doesn't have annoying PR.

I'm seeing a lot of this here:

You say X is not perfect, I say Y is even more imperfect for blah! and blah!! reason, so X wins.

😆 doesn't work like that. Topic is about Anushka'a persona, not a competition about who is better or worse.

Back to the topic, I think Anushka was much more self-assured during BBB and Rab Ne days. And that showed in her work. Goes to show how much success is dependent on innate confidence.
