Kangana vs. Deepika - who is more versatile?

Deepika is more versatile - Shanti in OSO, urban roles in Love Aaj Kal/Break ke baad, Veronica in Cocktail, Meenamma in CE, that weirdo in HNY, Leela in RL, Mastani/Padmavati, Piku/Finding Fanny character, hot and sexy in Race 2/XXX, Girl next door in YJHD.

She's done so many different roles which are noteworthy.

For Kangana - Sweet Girl next door in Queen, Firecracker in TWM and TWMR, Datto(which was a missed shot acc to me because the accent was inaccurate), troubled model in fashion and urban role in Katti Batti. I did not like her act in Rangoon, Krishh3, Raaz.

So, acc to me Deepika is more versatile.

LMAO. Since you can't come for her acting, you are going to accuse that she used a dubbing artist. 😆 it was her voice through out the whole film. You could clearly tell if you had watched the film. And thunder, of course, you are going to say anyone else could have done the role well. You hate her too much to see anything beyond it. So, I can't really put any salt in your faulty argument. 😆

Yes I missed this in my comment. Kangana, other than Queen, comes across very similar in all her roles. Horrible voice modulation may also have something to do with it.

Oh yes!!! The other day I was thinking how majestic Anushka Shetty would have been as Manikarnika. Kangana didn't deserve to play that personality at all. And yeah I think Deepika would've done a good job of Manikarnika too, better than Kangana because she can speak her dialogues properly herself.

OT: I never understood all the "hype" behind Kangana. Her dialogue delivery is as bad as Sonam n Katrina. Which is why they had to use a Dubbing artiste in Manikarnika.

Yes, she was decent in Queen but there was nothing in the role as such. Even in the Crying scene where she was with Rajkumar Rao looked like a mock cry.

TWMR - apart from 3 Haryanvi dialogues of Datto, there was nothing "remarkable" about her acting in this one either. Especially, her Tanu was just so inconsistently acted.

It is funny how she bagged "National awards" for such performances when those like Priyanka dont get one for something like Saath Khoon Maaf or Barfi. Says a lot about these awards n lobbying.

Now, coming to Deepika. I did not understand why she was praised so much for Piku. She too had just one tone and expression through out the film.

But, at her best, Deepika can pull off a Ram Leela and Chennai Express. She overshadowed SRK as Meenamma. Also, she is a complete package. Can dance and look glamorous in Mainstream films like Cocktail, Om Shanti Om and YJHD and at same time, pull off something like Padmavat n Mastani.

She also brings a certain Dignity and Grace - something that Kangana can never bring onscreen or offscreen. No amount of CGI or Makeup can bring that. Even in her dances in Padmavat or sword scenes in Bajirao Mastani, she has a certain grace.

So, definitely Deepika by all angles. Infact, she clearly has more number of memorable roles too. Other than Queen n TWMR - which she has blown her own trumpet a billion times by now, i dont even remember anything worthwhile of Kangana. Her offscreen acting is definitely better than everyone though 😆

I have yet to come across a Kangana fan in my real life. People talk only about Deepika, Kareena, Vidya, Priyanka, Rani, Kajol or Alia. Rest dont even come in the picture. Maybe that is why they pat their own back constantly.

first let deepika deliver in roles like padmaavt then we will talk about her as manikarnika.
