Two things here - one the film is as important as the movement and second, 😲.and second, I have known Hirani for many years and I respect him as a filmmaker and a man😕.

This just proves her hypocrisy . They talk about me too movements and all until it affects their own movie. Just don't talk about women empowerment and shit if you can't stand up for women when actually needed.

In Tanushree's case she said, she believed the female journalist. That journo reported wrongly that Tanushree was attacked by Shivsena. Being a journo, she could not recognise the reporters with camera, mike. That is her credibility and there goes Sonam's certificate.

what research was done in Tanushree's case ? Kuch bhi bolti hai yeh aurat... the whole thing was so contradictory but there she will believe Tanushree cause its Nana Patekar... waha RKH hota toh waha bhi she would reserve her judgement.

If you want to give benefit of doubt to one person, then do it for other accused too.

And if you want to believe women in every case, then do that here too.

Just because she has worked with him she is saying what if the allegations are not true. Well sonam that can be applied to other Metoo cases also.

If she didn't know what to comment, she could have just said "no comments" rather than giving such contradictory statements.

People are quite naive it seems.

If you know someone that is being accused of something and they are denying it then of course you'll want to believe until proven wrong.

It also comes as no surprise that having grown up in Bollywood, she'll lean more toward a woman.

In each case she's still giving the benefit of the doubt to both parties even if her sympathy lies more on one side.

Here she's isn't saying the woman is a lier, nor is she saying Hirani is clearly innocent.

Hell ! It too years for people to see how wrong it was to want Polanski to be able to go back to the States without being prosecuted!

It took years for people to finally see what was wrong with what R Kelly was doing !

It also took years for Weinsten to finally be openly accused or for Woody Allen to finally being doubte regarding his adopted daughters allegations!

It doesn't make her a hypocrite, only a human being. Is it right ? Absolutely not. Is it wrong ? Maybe.
