Actually, watching the teaser and trailer I was surprised how similar to Bajirao mastani the movie looks. From wide shots and battle scenes, to the 'Har har mahadev'... so many things were literally like seeing scenes from Bajirao.

And I see nothing wrong in that. Only a vile parent would hit and slap their child for following their dreams. No child should be hit and slapped for any reason. She has expressed the same many times, especially her issues with her dad on public domain even before she had become popular.

Don't let hate get to extreme levels that can make you blind. Nowhere does Kangana's mother looks like she has been instructed or 'slapped' to smile in front of the camera. You can very well see the pride in her eyes for attending such functions and the discomfort of probably feeling left out since these are industry functions-like say a shaadi or award show.

Kangana can be anything as a professional but she has been a really good child for her parents, knowing how they had treated her when she wanted to become an actress. She not only runs the house, she built a new one for the same set of parents and made her sister stand on her own feet after her terrible acid attack and got her married and settled.

Its sad that she could not control her fame and overnight success which has made her very insecure as a person but that doesn't negate what she has done for her family despite getting beaten for wanting to be a part of the same profession she is in today.
