Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan's controversy can be easily be touted as the one of the biggest controversies that unfolded in the industry. Both were at loggerheads and gossip mills were churning out stories daily. Seems like Kangana is not ready to let bygones be bygones. When the trailer of Kangana Ranaut's upcoming movie Manikarnika was released, netizens spotted an uncanny similarity between a scene from the trailer to that of Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro. In the climax scene of the trailer, Kangana says, "Jhansi
aap bhi chahte hai aur mein bhi, fark sirf itna hai, aapko
raj karna hai, aur mujhe apno ki seva.
In Mohenjo Daro, Hrithik was seen saying, "Antar hai Maham, tu Mohenjo Daro pe raaj karna chahta hai aurmain seva. Social media users even went on to point that Manikarnika might have picked it up from Ashutosh Gowariker's 2016 movie. This coincidence became a butt of jokes on Twitter and people were even talking about the controversy. When Mumbai Mirror asked Kangana about this comparison, she said, "Who saw that film? Let's not even get there." Clearly, Kangana is not ready to let go.
When we had contacted producer Kamal Jain about these allegations, he had told us, "First and foremost, you can't have a copyright on one dialogue and that's a very general comment. BJP politicians say the same dialogue everywhere on the stage that humko raj karna hai. It's not his dialogue. I would have understood that if the whole film was copied, one dialogue can never copyright. It's a very common phrase.
Kangana is all set to play Rani of Jhansi Laxmibai with all her conviction.
