On the topic of Sasha defending his brother Ishaan, for those who don't know, Sasha had cared for Ishaan since Ishaaan was a baby and is the closest to him than his sister. He was almost the father figure so obviously he will be protective and defend him. I don't see any wrong in there. In fact I'll be surprised if he didn't defend. I been following them for years so I know their closeness.

Ishan is really sweet and quite likeable. I was a bit irritated with Shahid though, he was not actually letting Ishan speak and he even started answering for Ishan in his rapid fire, dude I know you are his elder brother and are protective of him but let him speak, he is not a 2 year old, it was his rapid fire.

That's the reason why khilji was the only interesting point in the movie.
SLB cut the movie the way people will be indulged to watch it.
And the chemistry was plain boring between the two.

SLBs padmavati musical was not only about padmavati and even there Khilji was an important role. Just because the movie is named liked that doesn't mean the character gets the most screening time.
Nevertheless a good actor always shines even in a small role. Priyanka had less to do in BM still she shined bright and no one will forget her performance.
