I remember earlier there were articles after that one picture come out when she met him first time at the Hyderabad wedding. How she is a big fan and so on.
Yes Sara didn't mention that Ranveer is her crush or anything that indicates towards that at KWK. Actually no mentioning of him besides rapidifire question.

Towards the end of the promotions of simmba you got to know more and it really fit into those articles back then when the Hyderabad wedding happened.
She really wanted to do simmba because of ranveer and recently in the interview ranveer mentioned that she wanted to do gully boy too. It's interesting for someone like Kjo not asking about her first meeting of ranveer at his KWK episode while he always ask those kids anything related to some star. I know if it was ranbir he would like back then with Alia and her crush on RK

I would rather say she didn't want it to make an headline with ranveer while he just get married.
And mentioning Kartik as a crush still makes you look better then mentioning someone who is in a relationship I think that's why she downplayed her wanting to marry ranbir also.
Doesn't mean she has no crush on Kartik maybe she really wants to work with him too. But Sara is definetely not dumb.

She knows the value of having a potential superstar in ur corner! She kept reiterating again n again that Ranveer is the biggest superstar in India even when he asked her to stop saying that. She is very shrewd when it comes to her career ambitions and is just chasing a potential camp to get associated with.
